Moderate Damp investigation and quote

We were advised by a pre purchase property survey to have a specialist damp proofer look at our utility room before proceeding. I posted the job here and Mark called me to discuss the issue which put my mind at rest instantly. He then travelled over to carry out a survey and once completed he called me to discuss the findings. Mark explained in plain english all of the options available to us and finished by telling us that no work actually needed carrying out at this point in time unless we were to transform the space into a living area. Mark was polite, friendly, knoweldgeble and very honest which to me is like a breath of fresh air! I’m actually just about to contact him now to hopefully have some work carried out!

2 rooms need damp proofing

We’ve recently had Mark to damp proof a couple of rooms and replaster the walls and one ceiling. We’re really pleased with the work Mark’s done due to: * Good communication throughout * Reasonably priced * Good quality work * Extremely tidy – even though the work involved pulling plaster off walls! * Friendly manner * Work finished in a timely manner All this despite the sudden loss of his plasterer and friend mid-job. Mark made it a priority to find a new plasterer immediately and the job was only delayed a day or two. I would unreservedly recommend Mark for any building works, and intend to book him again for the future.
